Do I need a prescription to request a formula?

How long does it take to prepare a formula?
Most formulations are prepared within 24–72 hours, depending on the complexity.

Can I order multiple units of the same compounded preparation at once and store them?
Compounded preparations have specific Beyond-Use Dates (BUD) based on their formulation risk level and stability. Many, especially in ophthalmology, are preservative-free and can only remain potent for 14–28 days. For this reason, we recommend ordering only the quantity needed for 28–30 days to ensure effectiveness, safety, and availability for other patients in need.
